As it happens, this girl has gotten herself a sunburn. A painful, blistering, itchy, peeling sunburn. No amount of aloe vera has made it better and this girl has adapted a temporary aversion to clothing touching her body.

Queue the perfect summer dress. This little number is not only perfect because I purchased it for $7 on sale at Old Navy, but it lightly sits on my shoulders before flowing down the rest of my body and creating curves I didn't know I had (Check out my hips in the fourth picture. Wowee!). Unlike most dresses I've found this summer, I love this one because it goes past my knees without being a maxi dress. Cool ankles make for a happy camper.

Even though I love the shape (and love-love the price!), my favorite part of this dress is the color. When Pantone announced Tangerine Tango as the color of 2012, I couldn't have been more thrilled. Orange is my power color.

You know what, angry sunburn? I'm in charge here. I'm wearing orange and I'm kicking butt and taking names.
