don't sweat it

trench: thrifted/originally Gap // sweater dress: Zara (2011, similar) // boots: Delia's (similar) // necklace: Nordstrom Rack (similar) // watch: Anne Klein
The sweater dress is one of those trends I swore I'd never wear. When they first hit the racks, I was like, "no sir, I will not be wearing that." Some of them are awfully thin and hug in all the wrong places and are awkward lengths. And then I found this one at Zara and I fell in love and we lived happily ever after. It is the perfect color, ridiculously warm, and hugs my bum but not my thighs. No one understands me like you do, sweater dress.

What trend did you try to deny, but ended up loving?

  2. I love you story about the sweater dress trend! I am pretty adamant that leggings aren't real pants, but laundry day & end-of-term always has me telling that voice to be quiet out of necessity.

  9. I love this!
To be honest, I'm still kind of anti-sweater dresses. I think it's my bum and thighs that don't like it. The tops of them always look so lovely, and then you keep going down down down..uhm, nope, put it back Kristina. Maybe one day I'll find the perfect one!

Oh, and i'm slightly skeptical about leather..even though I secretly want to buy a faux leather a-line skirt really badly.
