flowers what i'm reppin'

shirt: Forever 21 // flower: Francesca's Collections (clearance, in stores) // jeans: Gap
I almost didn't take photos of this outfit because I didn't think it was "special" enough. But you know what? Adding this flower makes it remarkable.

Sometime's it's just that easy.

As y'all know, I've been looking for a gingham shirt  f o r e v e r. I finally tracked one down at Forever 21 this weekend and I'm so excited to wear it with all the outfits I've planned. Monday was a jeans day because I worked 13 hours and, well, it was Monday. But don't stress--many fab gingham stylings coming at ya!

Also, while I was looking for something to use as a post title, I found the following quote that I think you'll all enjoy:

I don't want to be stinky poo poo girl, I want to be happy flower child. - Drew Barrymore

  1. I'm so glad you finally found a gingham shirt! I'm kinda jealous of yours too... I looked for one foreverrr too and finally settled on my target one, but I knew I liked this forever 21 one better, but I was just too impatient! I may sound crazy, but yours is more blue than mine (mine can pass for black in some light) and its a larger gingham print. Boooo.
Can't wait to see how else you style it chica! Maybe it'll make it like mine more.

    1. that's not weird at all! i wanted the target one for the smaller checks, but was turned off by the too-dark color (though i bet that makes it easier to style). i thought the print was too big on this one when i looked at it online, but i actually really love it. if you can find it, i say get it! you can never have too much gingham.

  2. I love your flower addition! I'm so bad about using pretty hair accessories and broaches and things; I want them but never know when/how/with what to wear them.

  3. OMG. I've been looking for a flower like this forever, but haven't found one I love! This one, I LOVE. And it looks amazing with your gingham shirt, too. I have a few checkered shirts, but they are not as cute as the one you're wearing here. You look just adorable!! I love seeing bloggers in "dressed down" outfits :) You look effortlessly beautiful, comfortable, and classy in this outfit!
