While other bloggers are beginning to plan cute fall outfits with sleeves and even tights, I know that I have at least another two months (probably three...) of summer left in Texas. Transition pieces are always important investments. I would love to find a well-fitted pair of high-waisted shorts that can be worn through the rest of summer and then over tights in the fall. Bright skimmer pants will always have a place in my closet because they transition both between seasons and from work to casual looks. I've been lusting over lacey tee-like blouses for months and I think I've finally envisioned enough outfits to warrant buying one. When you find a piece of jewelry or pair of shoes unlike any other, you just have to have it. I fell in love with this necklace created by Merl of Clyde's Rebirth at Texas Style Council and I haven't been able to forget it. I originally saw these Seychelle's wedges on a blogger and have been going bananas for weeks trying to find them at a good price. If you've never been to 6pm, go now and search for the expensive things of your dreams!

  1. I have been coveting those Seychelles wedges too! Love them.

  2. Also that lace scalloped shirt is eerily similar to the one I own from Club Monaco here!

  3. Cute picks! They are all so totally you!

  4. It's okay. Today it actually feels like a fall day and all I want to do is continue buying summer clothes. I'm not a huge fan of winter, while fall is fun, it just means I'm closer to cold, cold days.

  5. Right?! I'm starting to see all this "fall" stuff pop up on pinterest and on the more east/west coast blogs...while we're down here still sweating away until november! :D Love this though, transitional pieces are always good.

  6. I've literally had my eyes on the same high-waisted polka dot shorts for the past month now. It's just I can never find them in store or I'm too lazy to order them online.

Lucky us, we get to enjoy summer a little longer!

  7. I have been loving ankle length and skimmer pants lately. I don't know if they're flattering on me, but I love them because they go great with heels and tuck nicely into boots, so you can wear them all the time. I also really love that lace tee! I had kind of sworn off sheer and lace items because they never seem to last (I'm so terrible at taking good care of delicate clothes), but this one looks a bit more sturdy.

  8. Must have. Lacey Tee!
