so long, sweet summer

top: Wet Seal (similar) // skirt: thrifted (similar) // shoes: Steve Madden // bow: American Apparel
If you follow me on Instagram, then you saw a sneak peek at this outfit last week. It was raining on and off all day, so I didn't get to snap any photos, but I re-wore it Sunday. This is one of those outfits that looks kind of fussy and uncomfortable from afar, but it's not! I feel so relaxed and  at ease in the light-weight maxi and stretchy crop top. I'm surprisingly glad to see that crop tops will be sticking around for another spring. I have so many more outfits to create!

As excited as I am for fall, I'll miss the ease of summer style. What will you miss most about dressing in the summertime?

  1. So cute! I love that bow! I'll miss all of my cotton sundresses, but will not miss wearing shorts under all of them! Thigh gap is something that has never existed on this lady...

  2. i love this outfit on you, that skirt looks so comfy!
i definitely hate dressing for summer haha. so i won't miss it.
i dont like my skin being exposed to sunlight haha.
    bring on the fall!

  3. I'm going to miss everything from summer :-(

  4. Yes, definitely the ease is a major bonus of summer fashion. You throw on a little dress and some sandals and pull your hair back messy and you're good to go. I love playing with layers in the fall, but it's definitely a lot more work!

  5. I'll miss being able to throw on something real quick and then leaving for the day, but I cannot lie about how much I adore fall! Love this look on you!

  6. What are you talking about this Fall thing? You know that doesn't exist in Texas until mid November!

  7. love you're outfit, it's so cute.

Would u like to follow each other? Let me know :)

  8. I sometimes don't feel very stylish in the summer, but I have to admit, it is nice just throwing simple outfits on. Not sure ill ever be brave enough for the crop top, but it looks super cute on you!

  9. I love wearing my summer dresses so much, especially when a cardi is not needed! I'll miss being warm enough to not wear layers, although I always bring a sweater no matter how hot it is!
