link love

It's Friday! I'm back with another link love post as promised, though short on the links. My heart is so incredibly heavy with all of the news coming out of Charleston and I've been following updates via Twitter instead of spending too much time reading blogs. If you're looking for a particularly powerful piece about the tragic terrorism Charleston faced this week, I recommend this article (you know, since this is supposed to be a link post and all).

And in a little lighter news from the blogosphere...

♥ I love when bloggers get real. Hilary over at Cutie Cameras invited bloggers to share their real blogging outfits and the results are both comfy and cute!

♥ Loved April's post on anxiety and progress. Vulnerability online is hard and I so appreciate when bloggers open up about their struggles.

♥ I'm not crying. You're crying!

♥ Raise your hand if you binge-watched all of Orange is the New Black in the first weekend! Then take this quiz and tell me who you should go on a crime spree with. (I got Flaca, which I love.)

♥ My dear friend Katie introduced me to a fab new-to-me blogger this week and I'm obsessed.

♥ Speaking of amazing bloggers, if you're not following Franish, what are you doing with your life? In particular, her new series about building a cohesive closet is a must-follow.

♥ A super cute wishlist for the weekend: these adorable earrings, this insanely cute dress, a sweet pink skirt, a pair of bow shoes that I NEED, and this obscenely precious tote.

I hope everyone has a relaxing weekend planned with lots of recharging and support and snuggles. Also waffles.

  1. I LOVE Cutie Cameras' post about real blogging outfits! For the first part of most days, I am in yoga pants and a comfy shirt, although I do tend to be wearing the outfit in my posts while I'm blogging (I do all of my getting dressed, getting makeup-ed, photographing, and writing the post if I have time during Asa's naps)... but yeah. The first half of the day? Totally not in a cute outfit!

  2. I wanna do this real blogger outfit thing. Love that. Honestly, since I work at home I'm in my PJ's most of the time! And thanks for the link love again. I hope this week is a better for you :)

  3. I love all these links and think this post (link love) is such a great idea. I would love to show people what I really wear when I'm just chillin' at home. Usually it involves cut off shorts, v-neck boyfriend tee's and black boots. I'm still working on "Orange is the New Black" and hate to admit that I can't read or see anythng about The Charleston shooting because it literally makes me sick at my stomach and I won't be able to sleep at night. Ugh... I know I need to be aware of world issues but can't stomach all the hate. On a lighter note, I'm really loving your outfit posts. I love the black Loft dress that you were rockin' the other day. Very chic!

  4. Awww shucks thank you for including me <3 <3 <3
