Okay, so I didn't really wear these culottes to the club, but that's just because I haven't been to the club in a really long time (i.e. since college). However, when searching my closet for going out looks recently, I decided that these culottes work as well for night as they do for day. I don't think I'm alone in feeling that wearing black is almost obligatory when going out. These culottes happen to be one of the few black items in my closet, which is why I first considered them for the job.

While I may not actually wear this outfit to the club anytime soon, it's definitely going to be my go-to next time I have a girl's night on the town or a semi-dressy evening event like a bachelorette party. Those occasions tend to be few and far between for me (especially because Austin is such a casual town - ), so it really helps to have an outfit in mind ahead of time. I love coming up with outfits for the future because it reduces stress and keeps me from running out to buy something I don't need.

Do you ever put together outfits just for fun, even if you don't really have a place to wear them yet? Tell me about your go-to going out look - I'm looking for inspiration!
